Privacy
Two separate things live under this name: a one-page website, and an app that runs on your own machine. The website counts visits. The app doesn't phone home.
This website
Google Analytics 4, switched off until you accept the notice at the foot of the page.
Decline and the tag is disabled outright, so no request is made and no cookie is written.
Your answer sits in your browser under cb2000-consent.
If you accept, Google receives a truncated IP address, the page you viewed, an approximate city, and your browser and device type. The site also records when the download link is used, because that's the only thing worth measuring here. There's no form, no account and no mailing list on this domain.
The download
The installer is hosted on GitHub. Following that link hands you to GitHub, who see the request and apply their own privacy policy.
The app on your machine
Chatterbot 2000 talks to whichever AI provider you configure, using your own API key. The key and your conversations stay on your computer. They aren't sent to us, because there's no service of ours for them to be sent to. What your chosen provider does with a prompt is governed by that provider's own policy, and it's worth reading.
Hosting
Static files on GitHub Pages. GitHub logs requests for security and abuse handling.
